At least three veteran Green Bay Packers need to worry about their roster spot going into the 2021 season, including a part-time starter.

More is going on with the Green Bay Packers than just the drama with Aaron Rodgers.

The team is entering training camp at the end of July with major personnel decisions to make across the roster.

Sure, Rodgers’ return, or absence, will help dictate what becomes of Blake Bortles. There are several others whose chances of making the roster are surprisingly uncertain.

3. Josh Jackson

Josh Jackson started five games in 2020, but he can’t rest those laurels, especially after participating in exactly three defensive snaps over the final eight games of the season, including two playoff games.

Green Bay didn’t seem to factor him into their defensive plans for that stretch, and they’ve just gone out and added to their cornerback group this year.

The Packers spent a first-round pick on cornerback Eric Stokes and a fifth-rounder on Shemar Jean-Charles. They also worked out deals to bring back free agents Kevin King and Chandon Sullivan.

There’s no wiggle room for the former second-round pick. If he slips this offseason, there will be other, younger players looking to edge him out of a job.
