With Chad Johnson fighting in the Mayweather vs. Paul undercard, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens turned up to support him.

Former Cincinnati Bengals legend Chad Johnson, formerly Ochocinco, added a new activity to his resume on Sunday when he fought in the undercard for Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul.

Who was there to cheer him on? Terrell Owens, of course.

Owens was one of the ringside celebrities who turned up to support his former teammate.

Johnson, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, spent most of his successful NFL career with the Bengals. Owens played alongside him in 2010, their one season as teammates.

Owens outpaced Johnson that season, catching 72 balls for 983 yards and nine touchdowns. It was the final campaign of his career at 37 years old.

It also happened to be Johnson’s final season in Cincinnati. He went on to play one season with the Patriots before retiring at 33 years old.

Owens is now a Pro Football Hall of Famer after six Pro Bowl and five All-Pro seasons. He was prolific with the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bills and Bengals in his career, racking up 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns.

Even before his playing days ended, Johnson was interested in trying out different sports. He had a four-day trial with Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer during the NFL lockout in 2011. In 2018 he played for Boca Raton FC as a forward, scoring three goals in his career.

He even participated in some bull riding in his day.

His latest venture at 43 years old is boxing. According to ESPN, Johnson has long trained at Mayweather’s boxing club.

As part of the undercard for Mayweather and Paul’s exhibition bout, Johnson fought Brian Maxwell, and got knocked down at one point, though no official winner was declared.
